Overview: The Riverview Health Foundation department needed an invitation for their annual Bray, Harrel, and Sheehan Society Event.

Problem: The invitation needed to represent this year’s main event: The Beatles classical tribute concert at Conner Prairie.

Solution: For this invitation, I started by doing some research to find some inspiration in the form of The Beatles’ album covers and 70’s print design. In the end, I decided on using ivory and red-orange rays that I found to be common on 70’s posters to bring a bright contrast to the design as well as give it a retro feel. Meanwhile the white clouds within the invitation give it a light and airy feel inspired by the Beatles’ music while also providing spaces for the text to be readable.
