Mythic Brewing is a conceptual craft brewery brand blending fantasy-inspired storytelling with a modern rustic atmosphere. Designed to spark imagination, the brand features bold color palettes, immersive visuals, and illustrated mythical creatures showcased across the beer can lineup.
Inspiration
Mythic Brewing draws inspiration from legendary creatures, independent craft brewery culture, and bold, illustration-driven poster art. The brand combines imaginative fantasy themes with vibrant color palettes and expressive character design to create a memorable and immersive visual identity.
Visual Identity
After exploring several combinations of typography and iconography, the final logo direction centered around a custom emblem inspired by both brewing and fantasy imagery. The icon combines the layered form of a hop cone with textures reminiscent of dragon scales, framing a striking dragon’s eye at its center. The mark is paired with an ancient-looking serif typeface for “Mythic,” reinforcing the brand’s fantasy influence, while a clean complementary sans-serif font for “Brewing” adds balance and modern readability.
Can Art
Each beer style features its own distinct color palette while remaining visually connected to the Mythic Brewing brand through the consistent use of the signature dark blue. The illustrations utilize bold primary colors paired with complementary shadow tones and framed by thick dark blue outlines, creating artwork that feels vibrant, dynamic, and eye-catching. Each can also incorporates subtle faded textures in the background, adding atmosphere and enhancing the unique character of each mythical creature.
